Consultation

Consultation is a focused and collaborative process where therapists seek the expertise of a seasoned colleague to enhance their clinical practice. Whether you're facing a particularly challenging case or looking to deepen your knowledge in a component of practice, consultation offers an opportunity to refine your skills through deliberate practice and expert feedback.

If you’re navigating complex cases, particularly those involving trauma or PTSD, or if you feel the need to expand your competencies in specific therapeutic modalities like CBT, consultation can be invaluable. It’s also beneficial when you want to engage in deliberate practice—focusing on skill-building and mastery of techniques that will improve your clinical outcomes. Consulting with another therapist helps you stay current with best practices, overcome challenges, and continue your professional development to best work with your clients.
